Tom Brokaw & Obama's visit to Buchenwald

I had a great deal of admiration and respect for Tom Brokaw until reading his statement in an exclusive interview w/ President Obama during his visit to Buchenwald.
Brokaw: What can the Israelis learn from your visit to Buchenwald? And what should they be thinking about their treatment of Palestinians?
President Obama's response to Tom Brokaw was the following.
Obama: Well, look, there's no equivalency here.
I can't believe what an insensitive statement Tom Brokaw made in comparing the treatment of Palestinians to Buchenwald. I wonder if he has been to Gaza & witnessed first hand what Israeli's have been dealing with. I am in no way condoning the killing of innocent Palestinian women and children.  Palestinians themselves fear their government when they are being used as pawns to make Israeli's look like murderers. It is a known fact that Hamas would like to see Israel & the Jews destroyed.
I am also going to contact the NBC News Today program about this.  If you would like to contact them their e-mail is today@nbcuni.com I am enclosing the link to the article and video from Honest Reporting and would appreciate your views on this. http://www.honestreporting.com/articles/45884734/cr

Gails Greetings: Israel & the Gaza Strip

Gails Greetings: Israel & the Gaza Strip

Israel & the Gaza Strip

We hope you will join us as we stand  in solidarity with the state of Israel and it's response to the daily rocket attacks from the terrorist organization Hamas. Our prayers are with the families of the region as we  mourn the loss of innocent lives of both Israeli's and Palestinians.  Israel has been left with no other choice but to protect her citizens. While Hamas uses  innocent men women and especially children as decoys. Israel's prime minister Olmert made an appeal a few days ago to avoid a military response but was met with deaf ears.  Contrary to the media's horrific portrayal of Israel it appears that Hamas is not satisfied with their presence on the Gaza strip but would like to see the destruction of all of Israel. Although it seems like an insurmountable task we pray for peace for the New Year in Israel and the Middle East and around the world!  What are your thoughts about Israel's response to the Hamas rocket fire?

Herman Rosenblatt Story-A Hoax!

Well it seems that even Oprah can be duped! After receiving one of countless e-mails today
I was shocked to hear on CNN that the poignant and beautiful love story of Herman Rosenblatt a 79 year old holocaust survivor reuniting and
marrying a young girl who had brought him apples through the fence of the concentration camp he had survived. I
heard the news on CNN that unfortunately this story is a hoax. Herman Rosenblatt is indeed a holocaust survivor
who has admitted his story is not true but "wanted to bring some enjoyment"
were his words.
Holocaust historians had researched the info and found it could not have
been possible. I believe it will still be made into a movie. Apparently because he was on
Oprah and a holocaust survivor it was difficult and took quite some time to bring this
out in the open.
. I was intrigued by this story and anxiously awaiting the movies
debut. I am fairly certain the movie should be interesting but must admit knowing that
the story is not true has left me a bit disappointed. What are your feeling about what
has transpired with this story? You can click on the article below to get the full story.
Warm regards and blessings for a happy healthy peaceful & safe New Year!
